Traveling Millwright

**MUST Reside in the state of Oregon**

NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking Traveling Millwright, Iron Workers, and Welders for an Oregon based company that specialized in new construction and facility upgrades for manufacturing facilities predominantly in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to get in with a strong crew of professional millwright and grow the versatility of skills as this mechanical company does everything from food grade to sawmill construction.

Qualified Candidates will have:

• 2+ years in millwrighting or mechanical assembly
• The ability to weld stick and MiG.
• Experience in metal fabrication both structural, mild and stainless.
• Previous experience in working with conveyor installation and operations
• Installation experience of various equipment and machinery.
• Strong aptitude for trouble shooting and problem solving.
• A strong record of safety and execute all safety standards.
• Good judgement and decision-making skills.
• Own tools
• The ability to understand schematics, blueprints, and sketches.
• The ability to lift 70lbs.
• Can stand, bend, stoop, push and pull for a 10 to 12-hour shift. (Excluding breaks.)

**MUST Reside in the state of Oregon**

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Traveling Position in the Pacific Northwest. (Must be in the PNW to be considered for a permanent placement. Company will not pay travel expenses outside of the Pacific Northwest.)

• Days: Vary

• Hours: Vary (expect a lot of overtime)

• Per Diem: $60 per day + lodging. Milage from office to site is also paid.

• Pay: $20/h to $30/h DOE and fabrication test.
